As a hands-on Sr. Director of UX and Brand Insight, I undertook a ‘from the ground up’ approach crafting CloudMondo's brand vision and outreach strategies. I sourced and hired an agile and cross-functional team of UX, UI, and product designers, and prepared strategic roadmaps, guidelines, libraries, and processes. In collaboration with stakeholders and across multiple channels and markets I distilled complex AI and machine-driven concepts into clear, simple and intuitive designs, user interfaces and communications. In just 7 months I helped drive this start-ups go-to-market strategy, delivering complex desktop and mobile software apps to 12 countries across 4 continents.
Steering CloudMondo to a launch-ready objective, I led and worked alongside a talented UX team, crafting a suite of enterprise level mobile and desktop solutions that evolved and elevated how people and businesses managed and interact with their connected world.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all UX and marketing efforts across products and verticals including desktop, mobile, communications, and media
- Sourced, hired, and led best-in-class, and cross-functional UX, UI, and product designers
- Ideated, designed and executed UX products (desktop and mobile) in a fast-paced and highly fluid environment.
- Managed dozens of UX projects simultaneously and allocated resources accordingly, ensuring deadlines were met and team members delivered at the highest levels and efficiency.
- Partnered with product, engineering, sales, and other stakeholders to deliver on product strategy
- Developed and strategized brand vision, tone, and voice of the company
- Distilled and incorporated complex technical and business requirements to create intuitive user-centered design solutions
- Worked with UX team to design systems and patterns, information architecture, wireframes, low and high fidelity mockups and comps and other design paradigms
- Identified opportunities for improving and creating customer interaction and user experiences.
- Generated presentations, sales collateral, and other documentation needed to communicate design, vision, and ideas to the outside community
- Developed and implemented policies, procedures, structures, roles and responsibilities that enabled UX/UI to deliver on expectations and commitments
Desktop App Redesign
Working closely with my Senior UX design team and product designers we implemented a complete overhaul of the existing desktop app that allowed SMB's and Enterprise level ISP's to onboard, manage, and engage with their Wi-Fi networks, Captive Portals, Application Level Filtering, and more.
